My window regulator on the passenger side seems to have gone out too. Makes crushing noices when I try to raise the window and it is completely stuck down now.

If anyone has a DIY or any instructions on changing it out, I would also really appreciate it.

this sounds like the 996 forums of a year 2 ago, as the miles add up, this still happens...think they would have beefed them up somehow, not a real simple diy, buy doable when you follow someone's diy here, i've done 2 now, practice...

I guess it's my turn to ask. Does anyone have a step by step DIY Window Regulator replacement? Mine sound like LA Mike's grinding noise and stuck down. I saw the DIY door panel removal in the DIY section. I have 94k miles on a 2006 C2S Cab so warranty is out of the question.

TIA
Dave

For the $200 or $300 dollars that my local Porsche stealership quoted my on labor (parts not included in this price)... I would gladly not take the risk of a side airbag deployment and the two years warranty on the parts and labor.
