Hey man, I know you got a Dynavin for your 997 and I was wondering if I could ask you a question before i get one?

My 997 is a US car, but I'm up in Canada. The crappy old PCM lets me set daytime running lights on but I'm not sure what will happen to that setting when I take the stereo out. Do you lose the ability to change settings like that?

Hi, sorry I didn't see your message sooner. I actually ended up going to Meineke with a picture of what I wanted. They were hesitant and tried to talk me out of it but eventually agreed to do it. The whole process took about 4 hours. They lifted the car up, pulled the mufflers out from underneath. Welded a 2" pipe between the inlet and outlet as shown in the pictures. Put it back in and fired up the engine. The very next thing that happened is a big grin on my face. It sounded so sweet, I couldn't wait to drive off with it.

If you haven't already done it just find a good muffler shop in your neighborhood and go there with some pictures. It is a pretty simple job, anyone should be able to do it. If I had the tools I would have done it my self.
