I come from the classic less expensive sports cars and we all used to wave. Recently I came out of a Corvette and got a return wave most of the time. I see few 911's of any ilk and have yet to receive a return wave.

Sometimes, usually the guys with older cars wave and appreciate the cars...

I concentrate on my driving 100% of the time which means no gawking, no waving. Driving a Porsche is serious business. I don't need or solicit distractions.

I wave to as many soccer moms as I can, hoping for a flash, but the best I've gotten back so far is a wave. I'll keep at it, in hopes of that day...

In the late '50s (!!!), I had a Triumph TR3A. I always waved at English sports cars)MGs, A-Hs, Jags and Mercedeses (sp?) but -- Oh! we were snobs -- never Corvettes. More recently, in my former Cayman and current C4S coupe, I can't wave and hope to be seen but I do double flash my lights. Sadly, my salute is rarely returned. We live in hard times. Alas.

Yes, on Sat/Sunday curises; enjoying our P ride.
No, during weekdays rush hour traffic; can't wait to get the hell off the roads.

I wave at my soccer mom in her Cayenne S all the time, but ever since we got married she tends to ignore me.

I do wave or give a thumbs up frequently but its hit or miss whether it will be returned.

You should be here at Rennsport Reunion - at least this weekend its a huge wave fest around town.

Hands at 10 and 2, all the time, that's what they teach you on the track.
