marked one for the 5v phone charger (for the passenger) + other one for usb Media
The back of the usb cables are zip tied to the factory cables - this will ensure no wiggling around, hitting the handbrake, shifter etc etc. Also make sure they dont hit the other plastic pieces / screws that attach to the console.
This past weekend I installed my freshly painted aero kit front bumper. Cleaned the radiators in the process. Didn't realize this would be a weight saving mod as well when what seems like dozens of rocks came out of being wedged into the old bumper 😂

nice! I recently did the same. Super easy save for those two weird and impossible to pull horizontal brackets near the headlights. Almost ripped my finger off lol.

Right!? A video I watched suggested making loops with a zip tie and hooking it around them and pulling them out. That worked for me. But man they came out in a violent manner lol.

I just use a flat punch and lightly tap it with a hammer and they slide right out. The punch keeps the hammer away from the paint.
Yea i couldn't find an easy way. Tried internet tips and my own home made tools lol.. One was easy'ish, but the other made me almost give up the project.
After 5.5 years the 6 year warranty battery (48,515 miles 3/24/2017 $254.39 Interstate Battery MTP94R/H7) that the previous owner installed in my 997, decided to give up the ghost.
I got a new AGM from Costco for $196.09 including PA tax, installed it and charged overnight just for good measure. In the morning, VROOM, started right up:
The only minor hiccup is the vent line. It was stuck pretty deep into the old sloshy acid battery. There's a recess in the AGM that's not as deep so I used a piece of wire insulation to keep it from flopping out. My understanding is that AGM doesn't really need venting, but the line is there in the car so it might as well go somewhere.

SWEET!
This is next on my build, did you source this new or used and had it painted?
I took my car to get llumar F1 Stratos installed so I would not cook again driving up and down CA in summer (70% all windows). The shop did a substandard job IMO and I asked them to fix the most egregious errors in their work—namely the peeling corners on the rear window. They said they would "redo the windows that had issues." I came back and got the car. A couple days later, I heard the tint peeling again and realized they just cut off the peeling parts and put cut parts over it like a patch job. 🙄🙄🙄. It is sad because I have gone to this tint shop with 6 cars. In any case, if you are in Pasadena, or the SGV, avoid G5 tint shop because they do not try to attain perfection any longer. They talked to me about how no tint job is perfect and etc., so I just gave up on them and fixed my own tint. I can take it off when I stop driving through the central valley heat every couple months. For now, this fix makes me laugh (and it is invisible unless you crawl into the rear):
I also replaced my rear view. It is so nice to not look at a lava lamp as a rear view every day again!

I got the bumper from Porsche Silver Spring. They had the best price online.
Took it to a local body shop to paint match and spray it. Quite a process but well worth it. Paint matching without blending turned out pretty perfect. Didn’t want them painting over the original paint.
I installed CTEK comfort indicator pigtails to my new AGM battery and routed the connector through the exiting passenger side wiper hole, using a pair of zip ties to secure it to an existing T25 screw. I can see the status LED blinking green (happy) and can connect the charger to it without opening the frunk.
