What did you do to your 997 today?

That's very cool. Thanks for making us aware of this new option.
I've been wanting to add dashcams to my other vehicles, almost all of which have Escort radar detectors in them, but not really wanting to take apart the center roof consoles again to source power, so this is perfect. I wonder if it would also work with a Valentine One as it looks like it's just piggybacking the power cord and passing it through to the detector from the camera. I'd need to figure out the mount on a couple of them though as I use Blendmount Mirror mounts in 3 of the cars that would need them and don't want to go back to the suction cup.
If my Escort detectors have the power port on the right side, then the camera could be installed right side up, correct. I think all of my 9500s are right side power plugs, as is my V1. Correct, the only reason I had to mount mine upside down was because the power for the detector was on the left side and the piggyback power cord is too short. If I could find a RJ11 cord that was a few inches longer I could mount it right side up on the right side like it should be.
Have you looked at any of the video both from day and night driving? How is it?I have looked at video from day driving and it looks pretty good to me. You can read license plates when you are somewhat close to other cars. Once the memory card is full it overwrites the older video clips (each one is a minute) with new footage. All of my current videos are from day driving and I haven't viewed any night videos yet. You can also view everything on your phone using their app.

After nearly 3 years since we traded our beloved 2010 C2 for a 958.1 as our family car, we picked up a CPO 2012 C4S two weeks ago. As a congratulating gift, my indy gave us a pair of clear side markers and fuel adapter as our first mods!!! Hopefully these two will provide safe (and fun) drives for the family for years to come!!!

I think meteor grey is beautiful and really hides dirt well but, it can be somewhat boring compared to other colors. Thought I'd try side decals since I needed to replace my rear stone guards any way. Initially I was going to go with medium grey for a more ghost effect but ultimately decided on light grey to match the wheels. I wasn't sure at first but its really starting to grow on me. The kids love it, the wife thinks its too flashy.

Sub standard, dampened enthusiasm, Bose it’ll do.
Hi RLers,
part of my stewardship of a decade old 997.2 C2S includes scouring the internet for feasible, cheap and doable DIY improvements. Funnily enough, these are usually great rainy day jobs, we’ve had over 500mm of that stuff over the last few days, so prepare well, and be ready!
Today I lined the Bose Subwoofer housing. I used 1 sheet of that aluminium lined mastic material (1.3 kg), often called Dynamat or similar. The premise is, adding mass to the Bose’s plastic enclosure will improve bass accuracy by virtue of preventing unwanted sound emanating from it’s lightweight walls
The job was fiddly, but satisfying. The resultant sound, less “kids of today” boom and more “mature” bass punch.
The lined enclosure.
Added stuffing, please don’t use fibreglass wool, it will contaminate your car and life in unrecoverable ways. Buy a $5 polyester pillow and rip it apart. Job done.

Anyone have experience with or considering a supercharger kit from VF Engineering for the 997? http://www.vfengineering.com/2009-12-997-2-dfi/
