What did you do to your 997 today?

Well it's starting to get cold out now like in the 30s. So I took the removable hardtop off the wall and put it on the Cab. Now I can't say it was easy as I had to run new wires for the rear defroster inside the removable hardtop and the length of back allen screws holding down the back were not to the correct length that determines the back of the hardtop sitting 8mm up from the cowl as to not scratch the cowl paint. That is now perfect as it has about 1/4" or about 8mm off the cowl surface. Now it's quiet and no sqeaks, creaks or noises. Feels good and I can still hear the flat six with Fister cans and Billy Boat bypass growling as I speed away.

Love mine too, completely changes the look of the car and not everyone has one. I actually never took it off this summer, just enjoyed the air conditioning. I'd like yours even more if it matched the color of the car but to each his own, some prefer the contrast.

Installed Rennline semi solid engine mounts and aluminum pedals from Ebay with a Rennline heel/toe extension (used toe only). I added a 3/8" spacer plate under the gas pedal, seems perfect now. Can't wait for spring...

Took the 997.2 C2 out for the day like normal. Checked the oil levels after coming home and realized I was at 1/3. Put in about a half quart of Mobil1 0W-40.

New alcantara GT2 steering wheel. Mine came with the triangle airbag and I never really cared for it. The interior is stone gray and the alcantara matches really well.
