What did you do to your 997 today?

Added subtle Sleeper/ghost strpes and PORSCHE. Looks amazing and different in changing lights. Decal bought from Carrera decals or Renndecals I think it is called now. I this case it is silver stripes and light grey PORSCHE. Although it looks the opposite to that in this picture it flips in a different light angle....pretty cool. Straight on the stripes are almost a perfect match for the body color but slightly matt compared to the clear coat.

Yes I could use spacers but remapping my PASM with .....can't remember the company.....but you know the one.........is my next priority.
For a moment I thought you were going to say that the lobsters needed replacing. I think they are art. I'll leave that to those that don't think Porsche can't design lights as good as the Asians. All of those led units are awefull.
As far as the stripes.....no brainer to install, and carreradecals or now renndecals is sooo cheap and good 3M quality product.
oh...and the front bumper lights aren't tinted.....must just be the lighting.

Installed the Porsche 997 Short Shift Kit in my 997.2 C4S yesterday.
All in, it took about four hours which included going back in to review a YouTube video and getting cold drinks. Installing the shifter was easy, removing and reinstalling the console was a pain in the ***. It didn't help that somewhere along the line a previous owner or mechanic had uninstalled the Bose subwoofer and jammed it back in place by smashing the metal clips that are supposed to slide-lock into the back of the unit. They're fixed.
After much consideration, and after trying a Numeric in another 997, I decided on the factory shifter. I agree with others who have said this should be the factory set-up for all "S" cars. It feels just like it should, like it came from the factory with precise throws; what one would expect from a modern Porsche manual transmission. The throws are shorter; fifth is no longer over past the fan control, and the engagements are firm and precise. There is no longer play in the gear positions, even neutral is firm.
I like it and I like that I used factory parts in my Porsche.

Can you tell me what wheels these are? I purchased a 2007 C2S recently with the same wheels but the spokes were bright machined and the rest was black. I had them powder coated in a light charcoal matte finish. I've had no luck determining the brand of wheels. Thanks in advance.

Just a lot of aimless point A to point A driving over northern Texas/southern Oklahoma.
Almost 400 miles since Friday.
MPSSs are nice & grippy in 100+ F temps!
Man, I love this car!

Had a little fun at an AutoX.. unfortunately got ahead myself and hit a camera which scratched the side and ripped off the 991 front lip.
Looks the rear clear stone gaurd took the biggest scratch. I was intending to replace those anyway so I guess I have an excuse now.
Not happy but part of the gig I guess.

Thought I'd be the king of the car wash but a Bentley Cont GT convertible was there. (sigh)
