Thanks Jack667, VG247, and 7500rpm...

I showed the Mrs. a photo of them before purchasing. She thought they looked nice... I thought that meant go for it. 3 days later they arrived. Let's just say we had a lot of fireworks over the 4th of July weekend. After the hazmat clean-up... I'm keeping the wheels and she says she still likes them... I'll take that as a positive sign that our marriage will make it to the 26th year mark this October.

Now what to do with my old Carrera Classics which I just put a set of PZeros on recently... the new Champions needed 305's on the rear so I got a new set of MPSS to try this time. I may just keep the Classics with PZeros for some DE's and Champion/MPSS setup for DD. BTW, I just signed up for my 1st DE on 20JUL at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, TX.

I picked her up 3 weeks ago and spent 3 hours washing her inside and out. So very humid in the underground. Came up 10 pounds lighter but well worth it.

I'll need to visit the detailers area of the site to figure out the best way to clean the leather. The full sea blue interior has me a little scared of using the wrong products/techniques.

Lots of awesomeness lately including a first DE!

USMC - sell the old tires and keep the wheels for the track!

Thanks Jack... I'm very fortunate. This time it was the Mrs. who insisted that I participate in the DE event. Apparently her friend in Dallas has a husband(with a z06) who will be driving at the event as well. Funny how tracking the p-car was always a bad idea until the ladies saw a means by which they can get together... I need to find her more friends with track rat husbands. So I spent the day prepping my car for the tech inspection. Oil change... used Motul Xcess 8100 5w40 instead of MB-1 this time. Bled my brakes with super blue. Even wrapped my EVOM with heat shield.

I just put in a new garage floor from RaceDeck!
BTW, got my car back from the shop earlier in the week with new Guard TBD-type LSD, new clutch (while you're in there), a few new clutch parts needed like save cylinder, and a Numeric Shifter!

Great setup Jack... both the sharp looking garage floor and the car. I'm curious about which parts you replaced during the clutch replacement. Were the parts replaced due to wear or more of a preventative measure. I'm about the tackle the clutch so I'd like to knock out as much as possible while I'm in there. TIA

Great looking car and garage Jack

Welcome Scotty2H and Cayonrs4 . Those are two stunning examples. Enjoy, and keep us posted on future modification plans.
