You must not be obsesive/compulsive, and that is a REALLY good way to be!

The only Porsche that would freak me out getting rain on it is one of the new Porsche Boxster Spyders with the roof removed caught in a sudden Florida thunderstorm.

Yer just saying that to fit in with the Di-Hydrogen Monoxide group. (DHMO)

DHMO is dangerous to not only your car but your well being! http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html

Isn't there an OLD Wife's cure for those lovebugs? spraying PAM on the paint was supposed to allow them to clean right up with just a gentle wash?

you are a FOOL if you let your car get wet. It's not a boat. Sell it while it still has some resell value and move on.

There is a reason that the Car Duster was invented in Southern California. Forget the rain. In case you get dust on your car...

Five plus pages on "WHAT TO DO IF A RAINDROP HITS MY CAR"......

These are the same cars that sit on the new car lot for over six months waiting for a buyer.......

I get one of these, opened up the sunroof and not have to worry about the rain.

Enough already. If you want to continue to demonstrate that you are in a "special" P-car class which does not overly concern itself with the aesthetic part of car ownership, wonderful! Some of us care about performance, maintenance, and the aesthetics of these beautiful automobiles. Your point is no longer well-taken, and I suggest you stay within that group, whatever you believe it is.

This begs the question that rain is a factor when it comes to aesthetics. The fact that I am unconcerned with rain doesn't mean I am not overly concerned with aesthetics. It simply means I recognize that rain doesn't harm the car.

I love a clean car. I just also know that letting my Porsche get wet in the rain doesn't hamper my ability to keep the car clean and looking nice.

I "care about performance, maintenance, and the aesthetics of these beautiful automobiles." I don't care about rain.

Well, you gotta sell it - that's all you can do. Fortunately rain almost never shows up on a Car-Fax, so you if detail it before selling, the buyer will most likely never know - just be cool.

Try to be more careful next time.

This has gotten ridiculous. WHO EVER SAID that rain "harms the car"?
