Every time I drive my 911, it rains. So if I never drive it in the rain, I'll never get to drive it.

Once I get it home in the garage, after it gets rain on it...I get out of the car and then point at it, and scold it very pejoratively. Then I close the garage door and go inside the house so that it has time to think about what it has done.

Dr. Porsche was/is far more concerned about his favorite cars being produced in Lizard Green and Orange - completely counter to the Teutonic religion of understatement. He preferred black, the one "color" that didn't distract from the design.

I have a 2005, nicely configured slate gray over terra cotta full leather, decent miles, 6MT, well taken care of, IMS done, new clutch, all maintenance up to date - selling for $3500 as a parts car - got caught in the rain yesterday. That car is now dead to me. Take it away, please

I'm still driving the same GT3 I was when this thread was brand new and it still hasn't melted. Rain or shine.

Huge thunderstorm here in the NE today. Rain so thick it was hard to see. My 09 C4S seemed to do best under full throttle around corners in 1st. You could just get the tires loose (a little).

Rain? I live in Northern California, so this thread confuses me. What is this "rain" you're talking about? I have a vague memory of something related to the sky & water from my years living in Seattle, but rain...?

Yeah, sorry- you lost me.
