Default Obsessively ****

I'm constantly given a hard time about how **** I am about my 997s.
Things like ultra clean wheels (every 40 or 50 miles), no rain, no dirt, no dust, no parking....

I'd appreciate hearing some stories from others that are so affected.

Those that drive in the rain need not respond...lol

Believe me... I do.
It is without question the best vehicle I have ever owned.

The "washing every 50 miles thing" will wear off in time, but don't ever compromise the parking choices.

Well, after each drive, I do use some Qwik Detailer on the area behind the front and rear wheel openings where brake dust accumulates on the door panels and the rear bumper covers. And I wipe down the outside of the wheels to get the rest of the brake dust.......all that before I put the cover on, in the garage! Maybe not quite as bad as you, but I have my moments....

OK, when I order coffee at Starbucks, I always ask for a double cup, because it stays hotter longer, and fits in my hands better, than using the dinky sleeve. But, before I drink it, I always line-up the seams in the cups so they are even.

What about using a paint brush to clean the area in the lug nut wells?
What about wax? How often?

You're all making me feel much better.

It comes from Porsche ownership. Or Porsche ownership comes from it! You can never be too **** excessive when it comes to this car.

That's crazy!

There's a much better tool for that job.
