Default Porsche Sport Driving School- Yet ANOTHER Glowing Report

Just did the two-day Performance course. Have to add my voice to the chorus of happy participants.
  • It was a ton of fun.
  • I learned a LOT.
  • It was conducted in first-class fashion.
  • The instructors were very good.
Surprising to me were the "students" there who were not Porsche owners, and were car shopping.
The PDK S cars were awesome.
There is tailoring of the instruction to accomodate individual ability. Faster or slower paced per person as needed.
No doubt that I felt like I got my money's worth.
Highly recommended for any true driving enthusiast.

The cars/cayennes are bone stock. Stock brake pads, alignments, everything. They get the crap driven out of them and all performed flawlessly. A true testament to their engineered reliability. I never felt better about owning a Porsche.

I already signed up for the Masters and Masters Plus

Always great to hear another glowing report!!
For those who are shopping PSDS is the ultimate test drive!!

There are those who have never attended for whatever reason and they are truly missing out on what fun a Porsche can really be. You need not be interested tracking, you will come away a better driver and have a great time to boot!

Make the time and attend just once, only then will you understand how good an experience PSDS is.

So who were the instructors in attendance? Got any pics?

BTW you will have a greater time at the Masters, when are you signed up?

Hurley Haywood
Jeff Purner
Christian Coggins
Brian Cunningham
Rich Hull
Peter Litzenberger
Dick Makow
Owen Trinkler
Daniel Eastman
and another gentleman, J.P. but can't remember his last name (sorry JP)

Masters Nov 3-4
Masters Plus Dec 1-3 (last one until late April!)
Very much looking forward to these classes.

Yes, I am fully stoked to get out onto my local track now and get in some practice.

BTW- Barber Motorsports track is incredible. So beautiful, fully landscaped and (whimsical) metal sculptures placed around the area. The museum on the property will blow your mind.

No pics- I was only one in my class that did not bring a cell phone/camera, haha. I wanted to fully focus on driving! I have the thumbdrive with in car vid but haven't figured out how to save it as a separate file.

In the Cayenne offroad segment we were in the same vehicle and when he keyed the radio to get my comments I harassed him with my "Brazilian" accent and pretended to be him.

We were laughing almost constantly. He is a real hoot.

And he drove the pants off the Cayenne Turbo on the track keeping up a running commentary the whole time like he was on a Sunday drive.

I don't want to say to much more so as not to spoil it for the folks that haven't been there yet.

Have done the Performance and the Masters and will go back in the Spring. I just can not say enough about the quality of instruction, the fantastic track and the truly top notch outstanding courses. In fact I just told my son and son in law that the performance course is their Christmas present from me and their reaction was like a child walking into the living room Christmas morning. I'm glad I could do it and their reaction made it all worthwhile. I totally agree Daniel, Bryan and Rich as well as the others make it worth while. Jeff does a great job putting it all together.
