Yes. In the early 90's I lived in the Back Bay. Now I am in suburbia-- North Shore, but I work in Boston (financial district).

It'll happen one day for us...we love living in Boston but eventually my wife would like a real house and I definitely want a multicar garage!

LOL

Nahhh, Rome is really a good natured prankster, that's all. He love's catching people off guard and pulling the wool over their eyes.

Just gotta stay on your toes when he's around.

I actually prefer Britanica.com, but some of their stuff is incomplete.

Ok OC. Just remember, I got your back. Check out Rome's ride up above. Caught this photo of him on his way to Fenway. And he said he had a CS!

Funny you should mention that. I called them today to find out about their online service ($69.95/yr) and about their Ultimate DVD, which contains their entire set for only $49.95.

http://store.britannica.com/jump.jsp...rID=560&KICKER

I think I'll buy the DVD and just get the annual updates at $20/yr.

OC,

Do you read the encylopedia just out of interest? I have heard that many smart people do this just as a way to further enhance their knowledge of many subjects. I have often thought about doing this, but never really found the time to do it.

Alright, DG! Now you're catching the spirit of this forum with that funny pic.

Oh, hate to break this to you, but you might be the only one in my fan club. LOL

But I appreciate your support. Hope I can continue to live up to your expectations.

I used to when I was single, but since I got married about 5 yrs ago I really haven't found the time.

I have an older set of Britannica's Encylopedia but I think it would be cool to have a DVD version that I can just load onto my hard drive and access from my keyboard without having to get up and find the volume of interest. Okay, I'm a little lazy too.

I had the impression you already had this resource because you referred to it as an "authoritive" source in another thread.
