It is one, beautiful car. $123+k ...yeow!

I would have kept the Alcantera steering wheel and shift **** and have gotten yellow seatbelts. But white is great looking on the GT3.

No doubt Porsche hit a home run with this version of the GT3. The May Motor Trend is a must read both for the GT3 road test and the Long Term Verdict on their 2005 997S.

Agree, looks like a flipper. But man, it's amazing how good a plain white car can look.

Ditto on the flipper guess.

First clue: the car looks out of place in that neighborhood.

The owner probably had an opportunity to buy it from the dealership (maybe he knows the dealer and an allotment came available) thinking he could make a handsome quick profit by buying it at MSRP and hoping to sell it for more than $15k what he paid, as his buy-it-now price indicates a $15k markup. He probably took out an equity loan or somehow leveraged the purchase, as he probably can't afford to keep the car and only bought it as an investment.

Second clue: The first line in his advertisement copy reads: "THIS IS THE ONE!!!"

He's clearly trying to hype it up as a car that is so rare that if you want one, you are damn lucky to be seeing his ad because he is selling what you want and it is BRAND NEW - and exactly what you're looking for.

Third clue: His email address: RavivM3(at)comcast.net

It's really just a guess on my part that the user ID is based on his real name, but the name Ravi is a Persian name (or Iranian, or Afghani) and I've seen quite a few of them with grandiose dreams of making it rich quick. And it looks like he owns an M3.

Yep, a flipper. He's probably abusing the car, since he expects to sell it quickly. I'm not fooled just because you leave the shipping covers on the seats.

I can proudly say that I used my Nav to find my way to and from Summit Point.

Poseur's GT3? My guess is this was never intended to be on the track. Maybe I'll message him asking if they can rip the extra stuff out...

The 3 options he picked that I'd live with:
BI-XENON HEADLAMP PACKAGE ($1,090)
CERAMIC COMPOSITE BRAKES - PCCB ($8,840)
FLOOR MATS - INTERIOR COLOR ($140)

The Frills:
NTERIOR PACKAGE CARBON ($890)
SELF-DIM MIRRORS & RAIN SENSOR ($690)
PCM 2.1 (NAV) ($3,070)
PORSCHE CREST IN HEADREST ($270)
FOOT REST ALUMINUM ($250)
WHEEL CAPS WITH COLORED CREST ($185)
SOUND PACKAGE PLUS ($715)
CHRONO PACKAGE PLUS ($690)

It is a nice complement to the vinyl siding in the background.

I don't know about Persians having "grandiose dreams", and I have learned not to judgea person's wealth by the neighborhood they live in, but I would be suspicious about the fact that the dude's contact info is in Conn. and the car has a tag from a dealer in Florida.

FWIW, a look at his e bay track records shows he has sold at least one other car, and it was parked in front of a nice(r) house. lol
