I believe that these mid model changes will occur and imo will be significant( the way the mid model 996 changes were).
Of course NO dealer would want this and even PCNA would want this quiet. After all they want to sell cars in the interim.
I am just applying logic here, and seeing if history will repeat itself.
That being said I love the current 997, especially the S.

I could be happy with a mint 930. Turbo 964's are beautiful. 993's are extremely desirable and turn my head. The 996 Turbo, among others, is neat. All these cars have a great history and are beloved by Porschephiles. They all have so much to offer the true enthusiast and have their own virtues. I love my 997S. Why am I supposed to be upset by a mid model upgrade? I am proud to own an 06 2CS. Wonderful cars Porsches.
