your car is outdated after two months.Porsche spent a lot of money on r&d on the 997tt.Not to use some on the 997,and 997s. Some sheetmetel changes=update & inprovements.The porsche way change is good.I read on another board 997-355hp 997s-381hp.

I just got a letter from rector porsche seven 997s in stock 12 grand off list.Cant give them away.I am waiting till next year.Lots of parts from the 997tt wil find there way into the 997.

rob-- oj is a nice guy. people take the spelling and grammer too seriously. i think his posts are funny as $hit. only one (other than LTC) who makes me laugh out loud when i read this board. often more interesting to me than the mundane stuff we usually see. plus he was trying to save the rennlisters some $$$. nothing wrong with that imho.

I saw the same thing on rennteam; 3.6 history, 3.8/355 997, 3.8'x51' 381hp in the S. They also mentioned some updated fascia on the C4S, more 996C4S-ish. Figured they would do that after the TT came out. The current 997C4S is too plain looking.
The 997TT is awsome, I ordered one. The 997 is just a warmed over 996 imo, too bad it's got that crappy japanese transmission. At least the 996 driveline is all German, oh well.
