Can you get the car with 20's on it? Buy it , get a friend to help you and then split the profit!

Easy!

Yes, there are two distinct and separate registration links, but the sweepstakes entry does ask for a designated dealer...

I also entered for this and even though I didn't "win" and my annual salary is $50 mil. I don't see why I deserve this car more than the guy who's annual salary is $50k.

To me everyone "wins" if someone gets new wheels for his 911 and the other one gets club coupe for little extra $$ becasue of all this.

I doubt you made $50m by purchasing widgets for a premium when everyone else is buying them at market price.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with asking for a set of new wheels as a finder fee........all I am saying is that it is stupid to pay it on a car of questionable value.

GT3BB,

I'm sure instead of "questionalbe value, you meant to say questionable "premium" value.

Heck I just wanted to win the car (for free).

I know I did not have $$ to buy one so I never entered that. Why should I make it harder for someone who really could buy the car?

Now sadly even if I won the free car I would probably have to sell it just to pay the income taxes based on its "winning value". At least if I did sell it I would make at least some money off of it. Keeping that car would probably cost me 10k to 15k in taxes alone.

In that case figured if I won I would deal with then.

I've heard a car is available for $10,000 over list plus tax (7%)...$117,000.

That's just insane. And my question is how is the ebay guy requesting 100K plus in cash by 31August for his spot able to collect that? I thought you had to purchase through the dealer. So shouldn't he be selling his spot for a premium not the actual cost of the car?

The freakin speculators ruin everything, you are lucky to order a car because all these guys snag the spots and try to sell it to the highesty bidder. F 'em if I couldn't win the thing fair and square I'm sure as hell not going to pay somebody for the right. Sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings but I have my opinon about these guys, that .05 will get you a cup of coffee.

I know of an order slot that has been given back to Porsche. That is to say the winning customer decided not to pursue the opportunity to purchase the Club Coupe.

So, look for the first alternate to be informed soon by PCNA.

Good news for everyone that did not win such opportunity!

My spot just opened up. I made a deal with my dealer and they backed out tonight. I can't believe it. Oh well, it's the last time I will deal with Checkered Flag in Virginia Beach. They claim that weren't supposed to negotiate the price on the Club Coupe. I told them that the letter sent to me by PCNA requested that I use my local dealer (the one I listed in the contest form) and negotiate the price with them. They wanted full retail..period.

Sure is.

You're saving about 16 grand on the X51. My similarly optioned with X51 C2S is going to cost me $110,000 plus tax. That's with a 3% discount. The Club Coupe is coming with four times the discount if you pay MSRP. So you get to pay less for a one-in-50 car.

I wish I'd won a slot.
