For sure. I think that negotiated language in the terms of game were put there to give the dealers the right to charge over retail if they wanted.

The car optioned out at 111,000. You don't think I should receive anything off? I disagree respectfully. I only asked for a 4% discount. I was going to trade my 04 CS at wholesale. I question loyalty since I bought the CS there. I agree on the fact that the club coupe is special...but how special?

I was thinking more along the lines of the 99K price being a good deal but you have a point optioned to 111K maybe something should be given. FWIW dealers in L.A., CA could care less about repeat customers and loyalty. I know Aorosmith and myself both have similar cars on order and my retail price is 112K. You could option a non Club Coupe car with X51 probably about the same and receive 3K-4K off depending what part of the country you are in. BTW, what options brought the car up to 111K? I thought those cars were pretty well appointed.

Selected options on the Club Coupe
446 Wheel Crests

CDM Painted Interior Trim (Dash Strip)

These options were 7915.00 and with tax brought the car to 111,000 and some pennies

I contacted PCNA and talked to Jack Baer (?sp) who contacted the dealer. They called me and wish to negotiated further. I am going in tomorrow to try work this out. I really want the car and I have until Tuesday to finalize it.

I don't understand why those who entered the lottery didn't go to the dealer and negotiate, before they named them as "dealer of choice". You had, afterall, a choice!

I was picked on the 2nd round. I ordered my car yesterday at Suncoast.I love the blue color and was very happy to be able to get one. I optioned the car as follows:
Aerokit, saw one at dealer, this is the best aerokit yet and I have owned both a 996 and Turbo with aerokits
Black/ stone gray interior
Bose
Nav
Tire pressure system.
This will be my new daily driver, my GT2 will be for fun.
I bet there won't be many with the Aerokit option!!

So, if I can get a small discount on by C4, that discount can pay for my "X-51" kit, and I get the exact car I want minus the hassle that this Club Coupe sounds like it's becoming.

I would have loved to have won the chance to purchase the club coupe, but after reading all of this, I think I'll be just as happy with this new purchase... ;-)
