Default Turbonite crest

Has anybody put the Turbonite crest on their 997? This crest is listed for the Macan. Are these Turbonite crests the same size as the oem 997 ones and do they sit flat on the hood? Thanks!

My whole cars black and white. This looks cool. I googled a macan hood, it has the recess to sit flush. I bet its the same size, too much money and tooling to make it a little bigger. Porsche likes making money. Theres also an eBay guy who paints them what you want for like 100 if i remember right

Got it. Hoping it’s exact because I purchased another silver crest on Etsy and it doesn’t sit perfectly flat.

Somebody posted that they mounted one a few weeks ago. Try a quick search.

Got one for my 996 and it's look great with the cars silver/grey tones. Went on easy. The only hard part was removing the stripped speed nuts on the original emblem.

Love it. My 997 is slate gray, so the gold doesn’t seems to quite match. Looks like you reused your old gasket too. Thanks for sharing the photos.

That is correct. I reused the OG rubber gasket because I believe it looks better and more period correct since the 996 doesn't have a recessed area like newer 911. It also gives it a nice black border.

Thanks! Saved me $10 as now I’ll reuse my old gasket!

I think they're nice looking.
