Buy? 997.1 C2S- 125k miles
Considering to trade my M2C for a 997 C2S.
As I’m still pretty new to this community, I’d appreciate if anyone could give me some advice on this 2006 997.1 C2S ($37k) I found on FB marketplace.
The engine had been rebuilt by LN engineering, but 125k miles is still quite a lot. Before I schedule a PPI, I’d like to know if anyone would trust to use it as a daily.
-125k miles -6 speed
- LN Engineering 3.8L 911 Nickies with Rods/Pistons
- LN Engineering Ceramic IMS
- LN Engineering Spin-on
- Bilt 0.5 qt deep sump
- ARP Rod Bolts
- 3.8 clutch kit + flywheel
- GT3 throttle body and upgraded plenum
- AUTOart 3 piece wheels with Michelins
- Fabspeed Intake with OEM airbox
- Coils/Plugs
- OEM AOS + hoses
- Engine/Cabin Air Filters
- Front Brake Pads
- Full Brake Fluid overhaul
- Fabspeed 200cell X-Pipe
- Feister D modified exhausts mufflers
- H&R Lowering Springs
- BMC Engine Air Filter
- IXI Shift ****
- Motorsport Hardware Stud Conversion
- Spacers for Front/Rear
- PPF Front End/Ceramic Coating
I’m also open for other options if you happen to have a 997 for sale. Manual is a must, and preferably in the west coast.
Thank you for reading this thread.

Is it's documented and built by LN, the speedometer mileage is just chassis mileage. Time would be more of an issue as our cars are 17 yrs old. If a PPI checks out, I wouldn't hesitate and work on the asking price.
Are those Work Bombacher and is the color Lapis blue?

Does it have a clean title, any previous known body damage to the car? If not, seems like a pretty good deal for the work he has had done to it. My 997.1 C2S has 145k on it right now, with original motor, she runs strong for now but I know she's on borrowed time hahha. Great cars and only get better with age!

It is more likely that we did the block work and supplied some of the components to an engine builder, unless this vehicle received a stock replacement RND Engine.

At what mileage was the motor rebuilt.

If I were looking, this would be a good car where some negotiation can work in buyer's favor. It has good and tasteful mods, it has a beautiful blue color, and a mileage where it can no longer demand a premium but still offer years of driving experience.
Check out with ppi, then go from there.
