FTY's 997 Aero
Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself. Looking forward to learning about 997 quirks/upgrades. This is my first 997.
First off, the car is a blast to drive, lots of driver interaction that is missed with newer cars, it also has some of my favorite body lines with a strong nod towards the 997.1 GT3.
I had been eyeing this specific car since March and was waiting for a bit of a Market dip. It was a poor and impatient attempt, but it was an attempt nonetheless. On to the car....its a bit of an odd build but it makes sense if you were to build a GT3 "Lite".
Factory Specs:
2008 3.6L 911 Factory Aero
Current Mileage: 18,511
BASE 911 Carrera
407 19" Sport Design Wheel
435 3-Spoke Sport Steering Wheel
498 Delete Model Designation
640 Sport Chrono Package Plus
680 Bose High End Sound Package
810 Floor Mats in Interior Color
AP Black Sport Seats
CRX Wheels Painted in Dev.
Color G1 Guards Red
P74 Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package
P77 Leather Sport Seats
XAA Aerokit
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest
XXF Red Taillights
Aftermarket:
Fabspeed Exhaust
H&R Springs
Pictures:
I have a few things I would like to do, such as an alcantara shifter/boot and steering wheel. Some preventative maintenance things such as coilpacks/plugs/water pump.
Happy to be here and looking forward to tackling some projects!

Thanks for sharing. Thoughts on painting the front lip to match the rest of the gloss on the car/wheels? Maybe a gloss black or a paint match red?

Thanks, no plans to paint the front lip as it would be a hassle to keep up on it with the car being so low. A scuff on plastic is easier to hide than a painted surface.

Yes that's the one, I couldn't find any close to it (Spec/Mileage wise) for months.
