Got mine, used method 1. Shifting feels great now!
I am a happy shifter.
I used earthquake putty, just the smallest amount on each piece.
looks great without tape on the pieces.

As a cyclist I spend $$ to save grams on components with negligible real world gains and mostly just bling factor. With this, not a lot of money for noticeable improvement and enjoyment. Thanks again Asim!
Sure - I sent one to France last week. Send an e-mail to contact@heavyknobs.com and I'll get you set up. Shipping is at cost with USPS - so likely around $40 to europe.
While my shifter was apart for weight install, I painted my shift **** plastic top to match my steering wheel.
The cheap plastic was looking pretty sad, I think it turned out pretty good, love shifting so much more now.

I got my weights installed. It was a lot easier than I thought. I can really feel the difference. While taking my first drive I was really impressed with the heft that it added to the OEM shift ****. I forget about having this installed when I get in my car but once I start rowing through the gears I can feel it. It is noticeable. Good job on this design. Love it!
Sorry for the late reply as I was part of the initial first batch.
Install was straightforward, fit went in well. I too need to add some 3M double sided tape for the top weight. It rattles around when the top cap was mounted.
I have the stock shifter and maybe it’s me but after the first drive, I don’t feel the weight/heavier shifting or the rifle bolt action feel. It kind of feels the same. Would the Numeric shifter benefit from the weights?
