New Vendor Intro: Heavy Knobs
Here is another DIY on how to remove the boot and shift ****

I've been running the Heavy Kn ob inserts in my OEM shifter for the last couple months and it was the final piece of the shifter puzzle for me. I am currently running a Numeric SSK + Cup cables + FF trans inserts and I always felt the OEM **** was too light for the feel of the throw required to change gears. With the full set of weighted inserts, the shifter feels incredible and makes the car a joy to shift. Every gear change is crisp and has a satisfying snap into gear now. I would highly recommend these inserts and for the price it's a no brainer.
Great idea for a product and I must say .... FANASTIC LOGO !
You should give kudos to whoever designed that for you.
Perfect balance with the "shift pattern" and compay "initials"... I love it ! Brilliant.

I'll take a set! I really like the design and shape of the stock shift ****, just wish the "metal" parts were made out of metal and it weighed more. This is probably the closest I'll get. I'll shoot you a PM to get on the list for real.
Correct. I wanted to get a first batch out there quickly for folks to use and provide their feedback on here.
Although from personal experience, if a few years ago you asked me to spend around $125 or so for one of the many machined ***** available or $115 to get the same feel while keeping the factory look, it's easy to choose which way to go. It's why I set out on this mission to get these developed.
Further, even someone with a Makassar wood **** and full leather interior can now get the same benefit of an improved feel, which they would not be privy to before without throwing their interior off.
Suffice to say - I'm super excited to get this out to as many folks as possible. It's been a long time in the works.

Go up on Sharktank. Mr. Wonderful can be your partner and put a $1 royalty on each set. I don't think they'd do well on QVC though...
Can I insert the weights without removing the boot?
I was able to remove the crappy plastic cap/shift pattern and expose the 2 torex screws. I suppose I could remove screws and remove shifter?
If it is that easy, count me in!
