Guessing we will see it listed at Grand Prix in the coming weeks.

Default The GTS Cab fetched a bit more than this TT

Data point:

Quite the build sheet and mod list.

Custom 20” Champion wheels, an AWE exhaust, an IPD plenum and high-end TechArt modifications including a body kit, suspension, front axle lifter, steering wheel, and pedal set.

Shows what a crappy business selling cars is. What will they make on this when they’ve paid to transport it, paid the sales guy his commission, paid to rent, light and heat / cool the space, financing costs, cleaned up the car, etc.?

GP Motors will mark this up $20K for their "trouble". They are on par with RF in that regard.

I'd wager this 90K-mile PTS Cab fetches more than the TechArt black one. All OEM goodies- except a 991 steering wheel- ($18K exclusive options) and a $172K MSRP:

Yep, not worth it for $20k, especially given that there is no guarantee that they’ll get that price, and still have all the costs I mentioned. Not sure why we live in an age in which people are so disparaging about making a profit in a free market.

A 997.2 PDK turbo would have done a lot better. Tips go for a significant discount to PDKs

I’m pretty sure the GP motors is doing just fine given how many cars they sell and rotate through. They buy so many cars that they probably have pretty good pricing on transport, utility cost and rental on space are a fixed cost for them, and probably have a team in house constantly getting cars prepped for sale.

https://www.mercedes-benz-lonestarca...b2a91cs754775/

This Aqua Blue PDK 4 GTS cab has been for sale for a looong time. $115k CAD / $85k US. Full leather, 49k kms.

From the ad:

“This particular 911 has just had a full motor rebuild completed at Porsche Centre Calgary, with a new short block installed to correct this generations bore-scoring issues. The engine was completely re-sealed with all new gaskets as per the engine rebuild specifications, as well as walnut blasting of the valves to remove any carbon build-up prior to install with paperwork to prove.“

I don’t recall if that was in the original ad when I first saw it (many months, possibly more than a year ago),

CND $155K MSRP ($113, 901 USD), build sheet below.

@groovzilla must have clued in the Mercedes dealership to correct a bore scoring issue!
I'm curious if valve carbon deposits are a result of blow back around pistons due to severe bore scoring.
The seller must be deep underwater on this GTS.
They likely want it off the lot, the sooner the better.
With 29K miles, if the engine rebuild doesn't scare you off (or the import hassle/cost), a low-ball offer might win the day for a nicely specc'ed full leather ABM AWD Tip Cab.
The heated seats are a "necessary" luxury in a Cab, if you live south of the Canadian latitudes.

Data point:

It's a .1, but relevant as to how an amazing spec, low mile, rare color 997 can maintain value if not appreciate:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...ra-s-coupe-44/

Amazing options... IF this is was an RF car, with these specs it would be an $80K ask, all day.

If this was silver, @groovzilla would sell his 356 and return to the fold.
(But only with a full boroscope inspection!) Lobsters painted body color....

That slate grey is nice shade but it's not silver
Seems like a very good buy at $62K

There’s no way this is an RF $80k car. It’s too high mileage. And if it was, they would have bid on it.

Fixed it:

Maybe, but look what $80K list/ask price buys you at RF or GP.
You aren't getting this much car/color for $62K, IMHO, YMMV, just a WAG, etc., etc.

You woulda lost on this one. Despite being pts, 90k mileage is a lot.
