Cylinder One according to the foxpro 510. Lets see what it is... Shut down the engine as soon as it started misfire. Coils? Plugs?

140 000 km. Still on original stuff. Driven like a Volvo 240.

@Henrik964 Hopefully just a coil or plug then. Best of luck for a good outcome.

86,000 miles on original plugs and coils?

Certainly that's the issue. Should be at the end of life of your 2nd set about now. Post pictures of those plug ends and the coils for us.

If your coils and plugs are OK, try a bottle of Techron or seafoam through your next tank of gas. It's an easy (and old school) approach that can clean gunk from your fuel system and plugs that may result in an error code. Just completely solved my friends misfire and codes on his 05 997.1 base.

I had the plugs on my '09 C2S replaced at 27k miles. I had no mis-fires or performance problems at the time. With your car at 86k miles (3x the mileage as mine) if your plugs are not bad it would be a near miracle.

This is what mine looked like at 27k miles...

My 997.2 has right bank cylinder 1,2,3 misfire codes couple weeks and I had to flat bed to dealer. It turn out to be high pressure fuel pump issue and it was replaced. My car has 109K miles and bought new 11 years ago. I got the car back last week and all good so far and notice much smoother idling.

its not the original plugs. Did a big service little more then 1000 km ago so it
should not be the plugs...

John, it might be that. Low revs low gear misfire on cylinder 1.. it might be fuel pump. its been standing since early november so maybe a combo of things..

Did they replace the coil packs at the same time or are those still originals?
