No, there's not. Because to get A40 Approval they can't have the high levels on Zinc & Phosphorous because auto manufacturers have to guarantee emissions systems & safety equipment (air bag system) for 10 years indpendent of the rest of the car warranty and because higher levels of Phosphorous can shorted catalytic converter life and cost them money, they'll never do it.

The base stock of Mobil 1 and base stock of Driven oils aren't compatible. If you didn't do a 100-200 mile flush with BR30 or BR40 before putting in the Driven DT oil then you have skewed results from this first run of Driven oil. You've now flushed out the Mobil 1 base stock having run the Driven oil. Use it for 2 more cycles before making a decision to switch back to Mobil 1. Are you doing UOA with the last Mobil 1 change and the Driven oil changes as well?

FWIW, Mobil One 0-40 for 21 oil changes now. 7.5 quarts out. 7.5 quarts in. Never added oil between changes. Within the accuracy of measuring the removed oil that pretty much defines zero burned oil for 99K miles of my stewardship.

From the samples above it looks like it has more moly than Motul or the standard M1.

Some asked earlier the M1 5W50 rivals some of the boutique oils in terms of higher ZDDP and had a much better HTHS than of the 40w oils, and there is less oil burnoff. I stopped using boutique oils as frankly they don't offer anything more than the Castrol and Mobil. Whatever few oil analysis ive done, it seems like I get less wear metals with M1 or Castrol 0w40.

I bet you get the most out of this analysis, by far, by virtue of having personally climbed into the data in detail. A very interesting analysis!

Updated report. Short in milage, but was about 6 months in time... reason for the change, I needed something to do and bought an LN deep sump for tracking.

A couple years ago in the Porsche tent at Road America, someone asked the Mobil rep what the difference was between the US version and the European version of Mobil 1. His response, "absolutely nothing". I heard it with my own ears. Perhaps things have changed, or maybe he was new on the job.....
