Is Irish and Sburke using a product like Chevron Fuel System Cleaner prior to oil change?

Thank you.
Nothing's been in my fuel system aside from premium unleaded and a bit of sta-bil before winter last year (long, long gone by that oil change).

I'm a mileage/hours guy on every other engine I have (except the bike, which gets an oil change right after the 'beat the wholly crap out of it rally weekend' every year). That said, I figure Jake Raby's seen more M96/M97 engine failures than pretty much any single person on the planet, so for this one I figure it's a small investment in longevity.

Default My first oil analysis

I just got my first report. Pertty low mile oil change(little over 1000miles) but how does it look? I also added Mos2.

Mileage/hours is how professionals manage risk related to lubrication failure in machinery and it is well documented in the literature. You will find people on all kinds/brands of car forums that say they did their own tests or they disagree for whatever reason and know better.

My data point regarding the lead comments: I use Driven Injector Defender (and +octane booster, I have both) on my last tank of gas that I burn up just before I do an oil change. My Speediagnostix lead levels are 0.

Hard to know how much that will change from here with more mileage. The metal and viscosity numbers look OK, but not superb. I prefer to see reports from at least 3,000 miles. It's possible that metal numbers may only go up 30%-50% more from these with the longer run which would still put all of them in single digits.

Default Latest UOA - Two samples 2019 and 2022

2006 C2S 3.8, 93k miles. Seems to be good. I had posted ealier on this thread a bit ago with a contaminated sample (multiple oils). This one is all Motul. I have changed to FR50 per you guys recommondation. Also had bore scope done. No scoring. My indy gave a clean bill of health. Love to hear your thoughts though!

Helpful to know the engine (3.6 3.8? ) and year for comparison purposes...

Looks good (to me) for 93K miles - did you have to add any oil during the last 3800 miles?

Yes a quart. Which has been the case always.

That is one of the best ones I've ever seen. Proof that running DT40 or DI40 is certainly the best way to go.
