Thanks for taking the time photoshopping the images guys.
I think I've changed my mind,
while the GT3 wheels look good in gold on a black GT3. I don't think it works on a 997 with lobster claws.
Think it actually looks great with the blue. Will probably go ahead with it unless whims change by the spring.
(Actual lobster forks have narrow bottom and are pointy...nothing like these spokes on the rims, clearly the reason Porsche calls these claws & not forks )
OK this is the best colour combo on this thread...…… IMHO :-)
I prefer a bronze color to gold. Gold reminds me of the eightees when cars had gold emblem packages with gold wheels. Bronze looks quite a bit more upscale in my mind.

+1
That's why I went with a "champagne" finish on my wheels. Bronze didn't really work with my paint color, but I didn't want gold.

Got a pic.
I almost went with a bronze finish on my Forgelines when I ordered them but wasn't courageous enough and wasn't 100% sure I'd like them with the GT silver paint. Maybe I'll have them refinish them someday as my wheels have some machined areas that are really pretty and they'd look great with the wheel being a darker finish color.

Wow! Interesting question, last week I asked my independent shop for a quote on painting my lobster claws gold in the spring. Still not 100% sure, I would be beholding to you rtomassiniif you could do your photoshop magic and put gold rims on my midnight blue targa to see how they would look.
It might also look interesting in more of a bronze color...
Actually that looks much better! Thank you. Have a few weeks to mull on it but leaning to this bronze one now & picture will be good for my paint shop.

I think sliver looks really great on your car, but I also really love the way black looks on mine. They don't photograph as well, but they really bring out the yellow in my car.

Given the color of your Targa, they would look awesome in light blue jeans, or a greyish blue color. Then you wrap the silver window surround the same color.....
