Default after market wheels options

Looking for new wheels and prefer deep dish or concave options which won't break the bank. Trying to keep it under 3k.

Let me know if you know of any dealers.

Lots of people at the track run OZ at that price with tires. They come in the 997.1 GT3 sizes. Above that price #1 is probably BBS. After that, opinions will get heated. Being from San Diego, I like HRE. I know that a lot of people run Forgeline, which are a solid choice. Most of these are out of your stated budget. Within your budget:
1. BBS (CH-R seem to be the most cost friendly)

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...he-wheels.html

2. HRE (flowformed mentioned by @Mr. Merk above are a solid choice)

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...form-ff01.html

3. OZ Ultraleggera in GT3 sizing is a popular track friendly choice from what I have seen at the track.

@Tom-TPC Racing 's GT3 from his thread, which is my favorite rennlist thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...me-07-gt3.html

4. I will add OEM GT3 wheels to this if you can pick them up. I went this route just because it was way within your budget and OEM.

(I found a way to get yet another picture of my car parked in an underground garage in).

EDIT:
Also, IDK your location but in SoCal for example, lots of people go to @TAGMotorsports in SD, or Supreme Power @SupremePower in the OC area.
I know @WheelsB is also a forum sponsor but I have no experience with them. TireRack has good service for tires but I have not bought wheels from them, so I cannot comment on them either. I do have second hand experience with TAG and Supreme Power. With both, I have only heard rave reviews. I haven't lived in NorCal for a long time and I have not lived outside of CA since I was 2, so I cannot comment on other options. Last, the 3 different suspension gurus I have had extensive work done on my cars with have all had resources to get wheels and tires, and they are VERY opinionated about what options to go with.

Let us know if we can help you decide on something for your 997. As other have mentioned BBS and HRE FlowForm are in that price range. HRE is currently doing 25% off on their FF01,FF04,and FF15 styles through the end of the year!

@jamesinger hit it right on the head with his recommended options. Both the BBS CH-R & the HRE FlowForm wheels are undoubtedly the best options at this price point. The HRE's mentioned, FF01's, are on sale for 25% off until the end of the month which brings them close to the $2k mark for the complete set with standard finishes. If you need an unbiased opinion on all of the options mentioned feel free to call or email me so I can help you compare them all.

I liked the look of the Apex wheels but they required an alignment with more than standard negative camber to fit my C4S. They were very helpful though.

OP, up for consideration is our Porsche SM-10 wheels. We offer a variety of chassis-specific fitments for Porsche models for street, track & race applications, and we believe that our SM-10's offer tremendous value. These wheels feature I-beam spokes (spoke scalloping) and knurled beading along the barrel, accept factory Porsche crest center caps, clear a wide variety of aftermarket and factory big brake kits including PCCB's, are independently tested and verified by the VIA, and are backed by our unmatched 50% replacement program.

For a NB 997 C2 or C2S, we recommend our 18x8.5" ET42 up front paired with our 18x11" ET60 in the rear. If it is a track car with negative camber dialed in, we would suggest the wider 18x9" ET46 up front paired with the 18x11" ET60 in the rear.

- Here is a link to our current commercial thread here on RL where you can learn more about our wheels. We are currently running a sale for the holidays: LINK
- Here is a link to our "Showroom Gallery" thread here on RL where you can see on-car images and videos: LINK

Here are some photos of SM-10s mounted on various Porsche models as a reference.

Happy to answer any questions that you may have.

- Ryan

I have fully forged and custom polished Champion rs171s for sale in a fully polished finish rhen Clea powdercoat if you like that look. About $1,000 more than your budget, but for a forged , custom finish wheel, still a great deal.

I went with Ruger Mesh rims on Pilot sport 4s tires on my 4s... I love the look the fitment / offset is perfect and the rims aren't so expensive with roads / potholes now a days replacing one if ever needed won't break the bank. Had them one season and they have been fantastic!
