Hi, new in here and I realize I’m not alone with PDK issues.
I have a Boxster 2009, haven’t worked with cars for some years but I have time now. What diagnostic tool should I buy to manage the PDK? I saw an comment that was 2 years old, you might have more knowledge now.

Hi ! You really made a good job ! In France with a friend we tried to repair this pdk gear position sensor but we did not succeed so finally we bought a used pdk gearbox and take off this sensor for mounting it on our car... Now the car works but please let us know if the sensor you repaired is working properly or not ?

we have 2 cars on the road with the new sensors and so far so good… still looking for few more people to test.
just to be clear, we did not repair the sensor… we have produced the entire new electronics for it.
He posted nearly 500 times in the last 6 months of 2020, then nothing since mid-December 2020... irrespective of the first-world problem of PDK failures, I really hope he's okay.

I would like to volunteer (for a price if needed) to test it on the road. I have a Porsche Boxster mated to a pdk gearbox that needs a sensor because it was taken out to get another car done.
Besides that, we fix gearbox for a living in Malaysia & have replaced more than 50 of the same sensor. They are commonly failing here due to high fluctuating weather here.

I posted a 981 Cayman/Boxster PDK for sale in the marketplace a while back and forgot to cross post the listing on this thread. If anyone needs a great condition, working PDK let me know. I am open to reasonable offers and even more so for someone that also wants my 981 3.4L engine as well. Thanks
Two cars on the road successfully, sensor designed from scratch works, and so T-Design is very excited about this project. We are putting up a webpage right now, so customers interested in repairing their PDKs with 17xx error - can buy a sensor instead of buying new transmission!
First customers may get a discount in exchange for honest reviews.
This sensor will work for Porsche / ZF transmissions 7DT45 7DT70 . That's 2009+ 911 / Boxster / Cayman
