Default The value of my car has increased

Got an email from Credit Karma yesterday saying my car's value has increased. It's now worth just over $33,000. Any takers?

That app must really factor in previous accidents and higher mileage

Rear bumper replacement and 63,000 miles. Basically a flawless car. I can get $55K from my local dealer tomorrow just buying it outright. Just goes to show that Credit Karma may not be the best resource in terms of pricing cars.

... and that's why all these cars should be on Agreed Value insurance policies, even those that are essentially stock.

Those are words of wisdom! I have one of those through Haggerty and after so many mods or investments in upgraded parts... you want your insurance paying full price when/if that day comes and it all hits the fan... With some of our cars getting into their teens with age... it may be worth looking at.

Pete, do you know if there is a company that is willing to do an agreed value policy for your primary car? All the ones I’ve spoken to are only willing to do it for a second car.

I already have agreed value on my Honda with Hagerty.

Hold off. Looks like you should be able to get it for less than $10K 4 years from now. Maybe less. Rapid depreciation of a rather sought after 911 model according to this forecast.

Try Leland-West Insurance. A PCA sponsor as well as discounted for members. Have been with them almost 10 years now. Customer service is not a particular strong suit BUT everything else is gold standard.
