Isn't the whole point of this ducktail that it can continue to be used without having to disable the active aero? Have you tried it lifted at speed?
Perhaps and yes I did initially have the lift and while it did not have any noticeable wayward impact on handling on the track....I just thought it looked a bit odd and OTT to be honest and hence disabled the lift. I actually quite like the more subtle look of the smaller tail than many of the others.
I'm always concerned about altering factory aerodynamic engineering. There's one thing to like the looks of it (which is positive!) but another to risk the additional parasitic drag and potential for upsetting stability in the top speed range (which you know we all strive to spend more time at!)
How about some pics of the underside. Never seem to get to see that on these, and with the ducting. Would be interested in someones 997.2 ducktail setup from underneath too.
