any Ducktail pics and info?

I am sure many of you have seen these pics in other posts, but I could not resist supporting the "ducktail pics" thread.
This is a Getty Design "Sport" Ducktail. I actually had the "Misha" ducktail for a couple years and enjoyed the"subtle" look for awhile.
Well, after lots of thinking I decided I wanted my 911 to look as close to the OEM Sport Classic as possible and the Getty Design is the way to go.
Arnold and Mark at Getty Design were extremely helpful and I met them in person and got to talk about the business and production process for a while.
I ordered the spoiler primered from getty and they can supply the 3rd brake light and harness. You will still need a good painter/body shop guy to go over it patiently and thoroughly. It just needed a little tlc to get it as smooth as possible and it comes out beautiful.
There are 2 types of wiring Harnesses. So be careful what you order. To Help clarify:
If you have a fixed wing without a 3rd brake light you need: 997-612-670-71
If you have a Fixed wing WITH a 3rd brake light you need: 997 622 670 70.
The Getty DuckTail is considered a Fixed wing WITH 3rd brake light and requires Harness 997 622 670 70.
You will also need to visit the dealership after for them to program the modules to know that you have a fixed wing and disable the motorized wing warning light.

I like that flying ducktail. Would it be better to get it unpainted and have a shop do it or buy it painted? Would worry about transport damage with it already painted unless they pack really well. Also, how has the color matching been for anyone getting it painted?
Looks like about a $200 diff. Not even sure a local shop would do it for that little.
Is a carbon wrap on a carbon piece still a faux pas?

Hi,
I took from here, they have CF and GF variants
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-997...53.m1438.l2649
Store is based in Belgium (ACC - Air Cooled Classic) and support was good since I did order wrong mk1, I got mk1 and sent them back.
For zero additional cost they sent me new mk2 version instead.
Producer of this hoods is company from Netherland, Van Thull Development https://www.vanthulldevelopment.com/
There are many many others, 9xxteile etc...almost each major EU country has one strong producer for this Porsche parts
