Congrats Jimfuerst.

Surprised that didn't hit reserve. $77,700 all in seems pretty strong for that example post Corona.

Fuerst first for third! And the crowd rejoices! “Crowd” temporarily defined as a “group of three or less separated by a minimum of 6 feet or two meters.”

I was going to bid just shy of $74k but was influenced by all of the posters saying how nice of a car it was..... I should have listened to my gut (not a great market right now+my personal experience of trying to sell a black-natural leather interior 997.2).

I think that is a very fair price. Even in silver/cocoa (maybe my favorite outside of PTS) I don't see it going much higher than $77k, although Slate would bring extra $.

The dealer is lying to himself if he thinks he can get much, if anything, above $74k.

You’re re-enforcing me being a loser guessing 79k. Sigh. That’s ok. Matches my stock philosophy of buy high sell low. Scotch makes me feel like a winner so I’m good. I’d add medical pot to medication approach but that’d screw up my DoD security clearance. Maybe one day my stock philosophy will work so well I’ll say screw it and get high anyway.
Thanks for pointing out my inadequacy in estimating

Ha, no problem! I think a different color makes it a $79k car. I always see lower prices for black Porsches for some reason; it seems to be the worst selling 997.2 GT3 color as well. My friend who works at Porsche Main Line sees a lot of 997 era GT3 models come through and says black is always the hardest color to move.

This one is interesting, but for all the wrong reasons. 2005, 126k miles, tiptronic, cabriolet and I think seller said IMS not done, but didn't read it close enough to say for sure. Sprinkle a little Carfax damage on there as well.

Let's go with this one...enough about it to make guessing tricky.

I am in at $32,500. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2005 S with 40,000 miles last spring locally for $37,000 (overall nice shape) but it showed signs of bore scoring and I passed. Bummer, as it drove very well. It was just a short distance daily driver in a cooler climate, which is likely to contribute to bore scoring.

I wouldn't feel comfortable bidding on one of these cars without a bore scope done!

Good choice -- I like the mystery. Last owner only put 1K miles in 2 years, did IMS in March. Prior owner put $11K in paintwork just before selling it, but it has no accidents reported. Consistent service location and history. Replacement head unit. Recent wheel repair. Offered for dealer sale last August but not sold?

I am going to wait to guess. I suspect a tight guess spread.

Excellent choice, but see my comment in the BaT peanut gallery - something bad happened to this car, for all of that work to be done. The dealer will have no idea. I wouldn't touch it without a thorough ppi from not just a mechanic, but a body guy too. I'm coming in low - because I think that's what it will be worth, not necessarily what it will bring on BaT. (and I'm fixing the format)
