What's there not to like about this car? Love the Carerra white, 6sp manual and IMSB has been upgraded. What I like about the 997.1 over the 997.2 is the steering. It feels more direct, more feedback and more raw. The 997.2 feels a bit more refine but I prefer the rawness steering of the 997.1. I'm in at $31k

I don’t see any record of a PSE retrofit, just a button. An engine sound clip would reduce some mystery. A clutch job could be in the near future. $31,500 and RNM for a $37k reserve.

I really can't see this one having less than $35,000 bid ( $35,100 to maintain the minimum bid spread) although my guess is reserve is closer to $40K. This car was for sale a month ago at around $45k.

Thank you but I am not optimistic. First, I expect that someone will outbid what I can justify spending at this point in time, even for such a nice car. Second, I don't think it will make reserve. Third, I am negotiating on a 2008 which may happen before the end of this auction.

This car was for sale at a dealership in Chicago last month for $45,995 but it is no longer listed there. Can't imagine the reserve being a whole lot less than that but we will see.

Based on the information supplied by the seller, not really. Granted, there could have been an unreported accident that the seller is now lying about but their explanation of freshening up the cosmetics on a 15 year old car seems reasonable.

What is wholesale? $31k? Anyone know? A guy here picked up a similar car last spring from Dallas Motorsports, but it only had 45k miles and was a 2006 if I remember correctly. They were into it for $34,500 and sold it to him for $38k.
