Yep they all do .... I am going to slide under my ride in the morning and confirm that it is in fact an e15 and that my most likely e14 and or 16 don't fit and I will then go from there.

Ok follow up on this topic as I just finished my water pump service on my 997.1 and I did not require a mythical E15 as mentioned. My E14 was the right fit and therefore I suspect that someone prior may have used an incorrect socket on your splines and buggered them up. This was all I needed to complete the task ..

**If you haven't replaced your 2 Idler Pulleys & Belt, I would add to the list when doing waterpump

I noticed today great Water Pump DIY post just dug up from last year:

Default E15 at Amazon. It’s 1/2 drive. Is there room for 1/2 inch drive. I plan on replacing.

My mechanic recommended a 10mm box wrench which worked for one but rounded the other.

Any tips or workarounds appreciated.

This is at Amazon. Is 1/2 drive ratchet too large to fit where it needs to go? I’m replacing water pump soon. Thanks
