I tried a while back but couldn't get it to work....wonder if it is because I didn't disconnect the TPMS control box??!!

To enable certain features in my BMW and Audi (which is partnered with Porsche), I had to set the car from USA to ROW or (Australia if ROW was not available).

I BET THIS WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE PASSENGER WINDOW ONE TOUCH UP AND SUNROOF VIA REMOTE (and who knows what else) AS THESE ARE SILLY DOT RULES!

Also make sure that your car is set to 911. When I was at the dealer last and they did some programming via PIWIS II, they discovered that my car was actually set as a Boxster!

I strongly recommend that someone give it a try, you'd be surprised!

Received my NT520 from yesterday Amazon. Tried disabling TPMS by disconnecting the TPMS control box located next to the brake fluid reservoir then coded TPMS under Gateway as Not Installed, but the NT520 does not let me code the Instrument Cluster to remove TPMS and TPM (Tire Pressure Monitoring) which is required according to Durametric Pro coding instructions posted here: https://rennlist.com/forums/diy-subm...etric-pro.html. Bummer! Will have to find a local PCA member in Dallas who has Durametric Pro who can do this.

Has anyone with a 997.2 done an update recently to see if oil service light can be reset yet?

Updated it this morning.
Oil service light can still not be reset.

If I remember right the latest update had a date code from late last year, so not very recent.

Default Nt520

Is there any possible way someone can check if their Foxwell nt520 can code the rear taillights from Incandescent to LED? I am doing a 997.2 LED taillight conversion. Any help would be appreciated!! Link is for reference on what I am trying to code.

FYI. With the July 2019 update, still cannot reset oil service light on a 997.2 turbo using Schwaben/NT510 scanner. It did add optimized Polish language, lol. Not that this is useful to me.

I requested in Apr/May 2018, through a service ticket, that Foxwell address the oil service light reset, and quick erase of fault codes issue. They said they needed a few months to source a car like mine. Never heard back, even with a follow up. Sent in another ticket in June 2019, still havent heard back.

Maybe if enough of us send in tickets/complain, they will prioritize??

Yes, the update tool. Think the last tab is for issue tickets.

you have to have the newer 2009+ rear module installed and the foxwell/durametric can code this option no problem.

if you have the older rear module it will be incandescent ONLY (no led option)

ok wow andy93si - thats amazing that you figured out how to get the horn to honk when the car locks.

floatingkiwi, i have a durametric as well, i am assuming that to do it under the durametric pro, it will be REAR->AlarmControl-> "Siren" (default is "horn") - i cant see any other coding option the rear module that has "horn". Am i correct?

thanks in advance.

No I don't think so - I have been able to get mine to honk (I dont have an "alarm" siren fitted), but I dont know how I did it. I think all I did was go to siren and then back to horn as siren did nothing. Maybe if I do that again it'll turn it off - haven't played with it.

Thanks for this thread - bleeding edge it seems. I successfully programmed windows down via remote (up doesn't work), flasher turn signals, and fixed wing. Saved this for last.... attempted to program the horn beep on lock/unlock, programming completed but the feature doesn't work. Next I checked again and it has locked me out of the feature. Any advice?

Latest software on a 997.2 C4S
