Default Exhaust Sound Clips for 997s

There are not that many videos or sound clips on 997 Carreras. Interested in making my car a little louder but everything on youtube sounds like crap. Post your sound clips/videos below?

You'll find that recorded sound and the real life thing are often 2 different things. I purchased a Tubi system for my 997.2 S and did the swap over myself. The first time I started the car with the new exhaust it made me jump as to how loud it was on cold start.
But once the cats warmed up after that 20 sec period it goes back to oem levels on idle. When I open it up it sounds like an air cooled race car from the cabin. Not sure what it sounds like on a drive by.
When I compare cabin noise to YouTube noise it's not even close. You really need to hear them with your own ears to make an informed choice.

Here’s a video clip of my 2010 4S Cab with PSE + Fabspeed Sport Headers and 200 Cel Cats:

I also kicked off a thread with 3 separate video clips showing the evolution of my exhaust system from: 1) Stock (non-PSE), to 2) PSE to 3) PSE + Fabspeed Sports Headers. You can pull up that thread here with video clips of each iteration: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...0-c4s-cab.html . I found that the result of Sport Headers was far less about an enhanced exhaust note while revving in a garage and way more about the amazing increase in sound (and torque) under acceleration through 3,500-4,000 RPM. This REALLY woke up my 997.2 but you can really only appreciate it in the car under acceleration.

FZP is 100% correct that video clips are a weak representation of the actual sound (not to mention that I recorded all of my clips with my iPhone propped up behind my car )

As FZP noted, recorded and actual are quiet different. Factors such as mic placement, environment, computer speakers and volume I'm certain make a difference.

My setup is far from loud.. I do like the note though.

I posted this elsewhere but here is a quick cold start of my recently installed Fister (and otherwise stock exhaust) with BMC filter.
