Default TO add or not to add a GT# smile.

Would you add a GT3 Smile to your 911 and if so would you leave it Black or Colour it the same as your car?

I would only add it if you have a center radiator....and if so, the color is up to you. If it was mine color combo I would paint it black.

Installing Centre Rad from Suncoast and GT3 Tek lower lip along with Zunsport Mesh Grill.
I have the GT3 Smile from Rennline but am sitting on the fence as to install or not. Once it is cut in there is no turning back.
Wow ordered the Zunsport Grill on Monday from England received it today that's service.

The 997 center cooler is different for the GT3 and the non GT cars. In the Non GT cars the radiator vents through the bottom of the bumper. So, unless you're going to install the gt3 radiator at a significant premium, the vent is decorative. Personally, I'm not into trying to make my car look like something it's not. Functional Mods I'm all for but to each his own. It's your car and some people do things I don't care for in this world.

i was wondering the same thing. assuming one has the center radiator in their carrera, would adding the smile vent actually have any additional cooling benefits?

I think the purpose of the smile vent is to create a low pressure area from the aerodynamics tgat draws air out through the vent, rather than it being an intake, so depending on what is ending up in the cavity behind the front bumper it could help a little unless it ends up creative g turbulence in the direct path the hot air should be taking out from behind the center radiator.

Looks cool though. I vote black.
