Price Check - 2007 997T
I've been looking around for a clean manual transmission, lower mileage 997.1 Turbo.
LSD, PCCB, Adaptive Sport Seats and Sport Shifter are preferred but not a must. Sport Chrono is a must. No accidents and no paint work.
This has been my criteria and pricing seems to be all over the map, and a car with the above seems very hard to find.
I did find a 2007 Turbo, 6 speed, full leather interior, 29,000 miles, black.. sport chrono and a couple other non essential options. Seller wants $79k. Seems a bit on the high end for as far as pricing correct? Has a few mods, wheels, exhaust clear bra etc.
Perhaps I need to be more patient when finding a car, theres nothing on ebay, cars.com or autotrader that meets the criteria.

Based on your list of desired options and mileage, I'd say anywhere between 70 and 80.
LSD is not a very common option, but sport chrono and the adaptive sport seats were selected on most turbos. All 997 turbos came with fulleather.
If you plan to keep it stock then I would agree with SC being necessary; however if you plan to make modifications then a simple tune can erase the benefit of SC.

saabin's range is about right based on what I've seen. You can find less expensive examples but they're not usually as clean as you want them to be.

Thanks for your reply. Car will get a mild flash and exhaust if I buy stock.
I'll keep my eye out, seeing as I only want black or white really it limits a lot of my search.

This is what I'm noticing as well. Either higher mileage or a lot of owners. Seems 911 Turbos switch hands often?

^ Based on the options and lack of adaptive seats & PCCB, I'd say their ask is at minimum 5K too high. Those interior bits are nice, but IMO don't significantly add to the value for most buyers.

Car has hre wheels and fabspeed headers and exhaust and a softronic tune as well.
Do you think $75k is more target number?

^ Seems the seller is trying to recoup his expense for the mods, which most buyers dont want to do. If it was completely stock with the low mileage then it might make more sense.
75 seems to be more in line, yes.

Absolutely stock cars pull more money, hence why sellers ask big money when they have them and wont let go of them unless they get big money as these types of cars will keep appreciating. The tune hurts value or any mods for that matter. Seems like the big money 997TT's are low mile, hardtop, manual examples.

Yes. And this generally goes across the board. Your personal mods might seem cool to you, but the next guy is thinking, "Argh, now I have to add in the cost of bringing it back to stock". Bolt on mods that dont change the car without considerable work are the best. A guy will be lucky to get .10 on the dollar at sale. My car has a factory TT tail and bolt on metal pedals. If I sold I could change it back to stock in an hour or two, sell the parts separate and call it a day.
