New to me 2008 997 C2S
Hi all
So finally pulled the trigger on a 2008 911 C2S - 25K miles, 6sp, Sports Chrono with sports exhaust ! I had a Cayman until recently and always wanted a 911. Love it so far !
Pics attached - it is in MINT condition. Huge thanks to Adam Brooks at Porsche Omaha who made the whole process seamless and shipped the car over to me and was very responsive with details on the service history and was very patient in answering all my questions.
While overall the car is in perfect condition, there are a couple of spots inside (last picture) where there is some light peeling of the black trim. Any advice on how to fix these ?
Thanks !!!! Looking forward to adding lots of miles on her

Don't think there has been any good way of touching up the paint from my searching here. There are some good threads on complete removal and then respray.
Personally I would either get bumper plugs to paint it to match the exterior or send it off to classic9 or exclusive options for a leather covering. Its not too expensive either way.

Did it personally, I wouldn't hesitate to do it if I were you.

Congrats. RE the bubble paint on the center console.....Need to pull the console and repaint. Body color, flat black or the color of the cup holder door thingy IE bright silver. There are a couple of people selling these on Ebay with a core charge.

Why do the exhaust tips have two different diameters? The tips on my '07 C2S are equal in diameter.

Congrats and welcome to the rear engine family. Looks like GT silver, which everyone knows is the best color
Another option aside from paint is carbon fiber if you like that. I have a ton of it inside my interior and love the way the textured pattern still goes with the black interior color, but breaks it up. Also looks totally at home in a sports car. Another benefit is that you can adhere things to it (Steelie phone mount base, remotes for radar detector, noselift, etc using 3M trim tape or sticky velcro, and they can be later removed cleanly without doing any damage to the finish. If you don't like CF, and your car has the full leather option with the leather dash and door tops, then going with leather is the more luxurious and nicer material vs paint. If you go the painted route, after it cures for a bit, take it to a vinyl shop and have them wrap it in clearbra which will protect the finish from future scratches or chips. If you do replace the door spears (that's what the pieces welded to the door that hold the window switchs are called), I strongly recommend the screw attachment method as it lets you adjust the pressure at all the attachment points for a perfect fit.
