In case someone is considering a T96 wheel I'll put my opinion in too. I love mine. The extra girth feels much better in the hand than the factory trucker wheel. The decreased diameter made the steering effort feel better as I thought it felt overboosted before. Also it looks much more sporty. The flat bottom felt different at first while driving but now I don't notice it. Got mine in a Christmas time special pricing event and have zero buyers remorse.

Smile Just purchased '01 996 Turbo Manual trans.

I have had several 911's.
I'm a Porsche enthusiast but i'm going way out side the box. I'm pulling the motor and putting a Renegade package in it; (LS3 480 hp stock motor but i'm adding twin Turbos). HP and torque will be off the charts. i've been a gear head all my life. I've had many muscle cars, had a few retros but never in a Porsche. I'll be getting the best of both worlds. LS3 is lighter than the Turbo, very cheap to maintain.

2011 GT3, '01 996 TT, 2011 GT3 RS. My buddies are giving me serious GT envy, however the built 996TT is certainly more powerful.

Took the winter wheel/tire set off and put on the freshly painted (Hyperdark gunmetal or something) wheels and PSS2s back on. Much better.

that sounds great... but let us know when you're 80-90k in the hole and the car still doesn't start while a new guy comes and buys a turbo for 40k, puts 20k into it and it drives past you... might want to start with a basic 996 roller so you save the money instead of doing a turbo roller. Just my $0.02

Another option for steering wheel extension.

I want that wing. It's next on my list of things to get, once the exhaust and tune is done...

mark, i agree with you on that.... i think the strosek wing is awesome! although i'm on a GT2 deck lid, that wing is tempting me to go back to an OEM lid!
