I dunno, it's also 15 years old, regardless of mileage.

My guess is that it still works normally. Mine is over 16 years old and has never given me a single problem.

Even if his spoiler isn't working normally, Kevin's fix is cost effective and maintains the stock look and function.

All due respect to Kevin and Dave, but if this is my 963 mile TT it's going to the dealer for a new OEM system for whatever it costs when the spoiler goes.

I'll bet that a 963 mile TT with an unlimited budget is not the target market for Dave or Kevin.

I'll also bet they'd both argue with you, given that Dave's kit is on CGT's, and Kevin's is better than stock.

Maybe it's just me, but I also don't trust the dealer more than I trust those guys or my local indy (extreme understatement).

There's a black Turbo S manual Coupe for Sale in Chicago, asking $59K with 59K miles.

^ thats a good deal in my book.

sure you can get a lower mileage TT for that.. but push come to shove thats an S.. PCCB's X50, etc. etc.

in time that will be a winner.

Right front accident history, although Autocheck indicates not a major accident. I know many people view any accident damage as a disqualifying issue. But, if it is a minor fender bender . . .

Wow, the 75k one didn't get bumped up anymore! I'm actually a bit surprised it sold only for 75k after such an early strong showing

Yeah I'm not sure I've seen an auction like that there before. Still seems like a solid price.

question is, do you drive it - as it should have been - or attempt to keep it under 10k miles? for me, the issue would be how close this car gets to GT2 options and that ceiling. everyone is [likely] going to choose a GT2 over a tt with super low miles, assuming it's valuation ever gets to that level.

IMO, there is no "as it should have been". The number of miles driven is completely up to the owner.

Considering the 12k mile 996 GT2 that sold on BAT for 150k, I doubt this will ever be an issue.

This car appears to be the top of the market for a 996 TT, X50 etc. I cant see it ever really losing value, but then again I would be really careful about putting mileage on it.
