There will be a beautiful 2004 X50 manual coupe coming soon to BaT, silver on black. Without getting into too much detail, let's just say that I wasn't planning on selling the car, ever, but life happens. I'll post a sneak preview pic later tonight. 41k miles, bone stock except for a 997 SSK, almost $20k of maintenace receipts including fresh clutch and rebuilt tranny, PPI from a top shop.

Did BaT fight you on the reserve? That was my experience a year ago (with a non-porsche)
Not really. I knew they are usually quite tight with that so I offered a level a few k lower than where I think it will trade and they said fine.
Rick - Sorry to hear that you are selling, but I'm sure you'll be back on the hunt for a replacement soon. After all, even though we love them, they are just cars. In a year or so, when I get to the point where selling the 996TT will bring enough to finish paying off my house, it is going to be very tempting to let it go. I enjoy the car, but I think I might enjoy having a paid off house even more.
I have sold 2 cars on BaT, although neither were worth anywhere near what yours is. I put them both up "no reserve". On BaT, I think the reserve price is irrelevant. Assuming you take good pictures and stay appropriately involved and provide requested information, BaT is going to bring top dollar for your car.
Just under $50K with the buyers premium... Low miles and nice color, but honestly the undercarriage pictures seemed a bit unimpressive (read grungy) for a 30K mile car. Might have just been the lighting.
Considering that BAT cars are typically bought sight-unseen, with no PPI, and as often as not will have $1K-$2K of additional transportation costs, it's more than I would have paid for the car...
