$54,175 with buyers premium and sellers $100 doc fee...

I'd say that's close to full market for a 60K mile Turbo with a nice premium for yellow and X50!

Especially with 1) no service records other than the limited carfax info, 2) no PPI, 3) purchased (most likely) sight unseen, and being in Tennessee, the buyer is likey going to have 4) $1,000 or more in transport costs... And let's not forget that somewhat undesirable 5) grey interior.

Just how much of a premium are you guys putting on that speed yellow and X50 package?

Wheels look better in person, but are still a chromey mess. Paint is actually in fantastic shape, except for a nickel sized crack in paint in middle of hood. Seemed like something tall was left in the frunk space and the hood was closed on it. And the steering wheel wood trim is cracked.

I'm going to try to track down the service history as it was serviced primarily at a dealer local to me. I agree with you guys, probably a $48-49k vehicle. But man, what a car!
I tried to buy that car last month. Skuffed nose, cracked wooden steering wheel, non-oem wheels. I offered 49K and the sales manager shut me down. Oh well. I do wish I had a chance to try out their cigar room... or one of the 2 indoor putting greens...

Good luck with the 3-4 cars (which is it?), but the market for these peaks in May to July.

Season, meaning cold as **** weather in a large part of the country , where people are peoccupied shovelling snow and don't have their head on sports cars.

Although in my view the worst time is right after Thanksgiving, at the onset of the ****ty weather stretch. Our local PCA has the first Sunday drive scheduled for April 8th or some such date, and the first HPD around the same time. People will start looking at cars again in March already.

Not sure what the relevance is but it’s 3 maybe 4. I haven’t decided if I will sell the 4th white unicorn 996 just yet. I’ll see how quick the Gt2 and the other 2 996 sell and for what. Then I’ll decide if the 4th one will be sold. I also have a lotus for sale so it’s actually 4 maybe 5 in reality.

collected a few too many cars last year as I bought one to build as race car. Then found one already with 1500hp potential which I decided not to go forward with. My fiancé wanted one so she picked up the 02 white 996 turbo which she is unsure if she wants a 997 now that I’m selling my gt2. I got the Gt2 out of my system so time to move on to something else. Maybe a 991 turbo S. Idk yet.

No relevance for me - I was just stating what I thought his question was.

I'd like to say that I've never been in a situation where I've had so many cars sitting around the house that wife just lost it and all I knew was that I had to sell "several" of them. I'd like to say that, but I can't. I feel ya.

I wish that was the case except she is the worse than me at times.. she's shopping for a replacement to her 996 if we decide to sell it and also begging to buy a Raptor now.. Good thing is she pays for it so i can never say NO.. LOL

Dick Barbour just acquired this 2005 Turbo S.

Looks freaking awesome!! Low miles and all stock. Hefty price though.

yeah and I’m crazy at 57k nearly 40k less for a mint white on black. Turbo S is nice but black is dime a dozen.
