Speed Yellow leaves a big black hole in your garage, like nothing else on earth

Only cure is more Speed Yellow. Dude who bought my SY C2 was replacing a SY 993TT. It’s the paint

Looks like a decent price for a 35k mile Turbo S manual Cab?

Looks like the “9k” mile 2003 tt didn’t meet reserve at $70k. Car looked good except for questionable DME log, over 2770 hours… So the cars average speed was less then 4 mph… A bit surprised that BAT allowed this listing as the dealer couldn’t or wouldn’t address the issue.

BaT is all about volume, and has been since before the Hearst acquisition. If no one notices, they don't care.

Remember, BaT, Cars & Bids and other sites are only providing a service connecting buyers and sellers (or, each seller with one potential buyer). These aren't auction houses, though I wonder when a lawsuit in a consumer-friendly state will wrap more protection around these gray-area pseudo-auction businesses.

Of course, if these were licensed and insured as auction companies, the comments would be gone, and so would business.

All hail the old standard: the arms-length, private party sale. It's a thing of beauty.

THat DME log also states 129384km which equals 80,395 miles. Does anyone know if the DME would be in miles vs km in the USA? Maybe there was a dme swap?

Even if there are questions about the provenance of that vehicle, the comments are downright nasty. BaT is an embarrassment now.

I think there’s liability and accountability on the seller and online sites part, if they are making money from a sale. Especially if they are listing mileage as accurate, otherwise the listing would state TMU.

Yes, $95k even with 7 previous owners, as well as being a dealer launch / demo car.

Looked to me like the dealer got burned on trade, and are flipping back out at cost (or min. loss). They obviously knew a lot more about the TMU than they were(n't) saying. Shady shady shady
