Glad it got that price. Sometimes with the mods it scares the purists.

With the fees the buyer must have paid over $71k.

I was a bidder up to 60k on that slate grey yesterday. I really wanted it!!! I spent a week talking to the seller, good dude. With fees, i couldn't bring my self to spend 70k on a 996 turbo.

With the fee, It is steep for an 02. I hope the prices continue to rise. These could be the next 6 figure Porsches.

Even at $71k, what other Mezger powered 911 (non-996TT) with 12k miles can you touch within $30k of that price? Still a relatively great price imo.

I wonder if someone will pay a premium for a 990 to 995 mile 996tt 1 owner 04 tt. Would any of you pay a premium for say a black on black x50 aero with this mileage w/pccb.

I love the 996 Turbo. And I love my 996 Turbo. But $71K is silly IMHO for any Turbo that will actually be driven.

Driven at all?

Maybe they intend to park this $71K Turbo.

Or maybe they have plenty of coin and intend to drive the doors off of it.

Regardless of the new owner's intended use of the car, I'm glad it sold for $71K.
