The Prestige Thread - Finest 996TT Market Finds

Oh Hell! Does it hurt anyone else's OCD or symmetry desires that the red super low mileage car has its rear plate frame mounted about as crooked as is humanly possible? LOL.

As I see it, higher mileage models appear to go between 50-65K for a clean example. An ultra low specimen with the right color could command a higher price for the right buyer. Perhaps a white one for example, I'd pay more for that color for sure.
For those of us who have a 6TT, we should be pleased to see these higher prices as it drives the value of ours up some.

Buyers pay 5%
If you win a BaT Auction we charge 5% of the final bid price, with a minimum fee of $250 and a max fee of $5,000. The fee for sales higher than $100,000 is capped at $5,000, thus it ends up less than 5%. The fee on a $1,000,000 purchase on BaT is 0.5%

I just don't get the preoccupation with low mileage, other than internet bragging rights. These cars age well. I would have no problem whatsoever buying a 80k mile well maintained version.

The preoccupation only exists because there are so many 996TTs for sale with sub-40k miles. If you are a "collector", meaning the 996TT you buy will basically become a piece of sculpture that is almost never driven, the market demands you buy "the special one", lowest mileage, most original condition example available to achieve maximum future valuation, and bragging rights. It is just how things are in the collector world these days. I call it Vestal Virgin syndrome, others call it Ferrari syndrome.

Collectors pass low-mile cars back and forth between each other in the hopes they get in at the right time and can make a profit. It's silliness. Buy it, drive it.

No affiliation, not the cleanest, but certainly not a junker either...with low mileage it's worth a shot. I just can't get past the interior, but figured I'd pass it along due to mileage. From memory, it has been for sale for roughly 10 weeks. Is is just me or does the front look higher than the rear? Spoiler stuck up as well?
I keep coming back to the car, due to mileage, but for some reason have not reached out to the seller...

Looks weird without the front lip.

Yeah but people who like nosebleed modded cars usually don't care much for leather scent. Can bring good money from the right buyer but not as many such buyers as for vanilla stock cars.
