Nah, just shopping for a car right now, which is why I'm browsing this dumb thread.
LOL, this is what retired guys do. Check out Ryan Friedman Motorcars for an idea what unmolested, low mile cars are going for. He has a great reputation. Good luck.

It's not for sale anyway. You guys that said $50k are used to high mileage, modded cars. There's a totally different market for those.
So you ask the group what they think your car is worth, then try to school them on what the 'real' value when those opinions don't align with your own?
Yes, $50K is low in the current market, but $63K is all the money, particularly as it is a private party sale, not a high-end specialty dealer, and kinda-could-be-put-back-to-stock, but not currently stock.
Putting the car back to stock would get best sale price from a wanna-be collector. Red stripes on black wheels will turn off many, as will headlight film and other add-ons. Stock is stock, and that is what brings the biggest sale prices on lower mile cars.
Maybe a bit ironic that making our cars 'better' either with cosmetic or mechanical tweaks and sorting reduces their value, particularly for a very low mile car, but thats the reality of it. I've kept every stock part that has come off my car, but it is way too good as currently set up for me to even contemplate bringing it back to stock, so I'll just put another 50K miles on it and enjoy the awesome car it has become.

I agree that it would be in $60-70k range. But, curious why you came here to ask, only to provide your opinion as fact?
Again, I think the $50k range is too low as the first comments suggested, but your intent on why you asked the value is questionable
20k is super low mileage and the range for that varies from 60-80 I think on BaT. Private listing I think $60's is a given depending on the ad and how much you put in to give it proper listing info (good pictures, history, paint in great condition, no 'winter' driving', etc...)
Hey folks. I'm in trouble with my 996. Can somebody explain what does these mean? I lost my original Vin sticker behind the door and struggling now with a new one. Where can I get my right numbers so I can print sticker?

Maybe the question came to wrong topic but never mind. The code you've highlighted is a declaration of conformity i.e it tells car fulfill certain European Union directives etc. This is for European cars. The VIN of your car is below that with WPOZZZ.... tells it's ROW, model 996, year model 2003, made is Stuttgart factory (obviously as it's 911) and serial no is 30928.
Thanks,
where can a get this declaration of conformity code? a full code?
and I know what VIN code says
I was forced to purchase the complete list from TÛV. Because my car is originally sold in Germany and local registration officer was an a*****e and required the document.
pfbz, thanks for your comments. Yes I voiced my opinion when i felt the replies weren't in line with current values. I would mod the hell out of it if it was a 40k mile or higher car. I actually received an email from a PCA member yesterday(how ironic) asking if he could come see the car. As you know it was listed for $69,750 . I guess it caught someones eye.

And, I have to say, my Smell-Dar came on pretty strong at the price-point it is listed at. A quick look at the original spec suggests to me that if this is even real, it is way below where it should be on the market.
A closer look today at the pics on my big monitor at work, shows some pretty obvious wear and tear, wrong wheels, wrong body, and most certainly, wrong headlights.
I have offered to go and look at it for the member of the seller gets back to him, but I must say, I am a little suspicious...
Has anyone ever come across one of these before, and can offer any insight into what it really is?
Perhaps bits of it, it clearly hasn't been lowered and the wheels are most certainly Carrera wheels - these prices are Canadian dollars, so I am thinking it may be a possible rebuild as well.
