Seems like the three 'hot deal' threads I follow (991.1, 996 Turbo, 997) are getting far more scam listings regurgitated by Rennlisters these days...

IMHO really brings down the quality and value of the threads. Perhaps we need a 'Brooklyn Bridge For Sale' thread for people want to link obvious scam cars, but all it really does it help out the scammers.

There aren't any ridiculously underpriced 911's on the market these days, at least not that last more than a few hours at most. If there cheap, there is almost always a reason. If there ridiculously cheap, there almost always a scam.

If a craigslist ad is an obvious scam, hit the 'prohibited' button on craigslist and don't do the scammer a favor by reposting it on Rennlist?

They say there's an *** for every seat. But I guess in this case, they're gonna have to find a second ***. At least they're sport seats. To each their own, who am I to talk, I once wore mint green plaid snowboarding pants in a competition so I would stick out to the judges

When they got that car in, it had myriad problems that took months to sort out. I had them photograph the paper sticker to be sure the car was ordered that way. I had made them an offer, but it was way below asking price. Not surprised to see it on the market, still, 5 months later.

When I was 16 I had VW Cabriolet (laugh all you want the girls all liked it better than my Scirocco 16v or Supra Turbo) that was, originally, triple white - white paint, top, and leather. In a rain storm, the top was left down inadvertently, and I had to get new interior. All I could find was a set from another Cabriolet that had red centers and grey bolsters. It looked JUST like this Turbo - it was ugly on my Cabriolet and it's ugly on this car, but it certainly reminds me of high school.

Ha - the interior colors match the colors on the wheel/rotor/caliper. Maybe that's what they were going for.

It's black, grey and red. It should have some tan in there to mix it all up even more.

If you don't want a title, you can save a few bucks.

Sure wish I had those sport seats. Boxster Red is uber hard to find!

Hmm, that looks suspiciously like the car in someone's avatar . . .
